Welcome to Three Valley Gap

A Family Legacy Since 1956

Three Valley Lake Chateau is a landmark family-owned heritage resort on the Trans-Canada Highway, just 19km (12 miles) west of Revelstoke, BC. Nestled between the Monashee Mountains and the glacier-fed Three Valley Lake, it’s a destination where history, nature, and hospitality come together.

What began as a small service stop in 1956 has grown into a one-of-a-kind resort featuring 200 guest rooms, on-site dining, and the renowned Three Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town.

Generations of Hospitality

Three Valley Gap is the lifelong vision of Gordon and Ethel Bell, who dreamed of creating a place where family, history, and hospitality could thrive together. What started as a seven-room motel and coffee shop has grown, brick by brick, board by board, into a full-service 200-room resort and one of BC’s most unique heritage destinations.

The Bell family’s love for BC’s history and landscape continues to shape the resort today. Gordon and Ethel’s dedication lives on through their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who remain actively involved in the day-to-day operations. Their hands-on approach, care, and commitment has made Three Valley a place where guests feel part of something lasting.
