Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Please review our cancellation and refund policy before booking your stay:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before check-in to avoid a one-night charge. No-shows will be charged for the first night.
  • Group bookings and events are subject to custom policies, shared at time of reservation.
  • For third party bookings, cancellations must be made directly with the third party.

Accessibility

  • Ground-level entry to most facilities.

General Info

No, the hotel, restaurant, and Ghost Town are closed during the winter. The Ghost Town typically opens in early May, and the hotel and Monashee Dining Room open in mid-May. For 2025, the Ghost Town will remain open until October 13th and the Hotel and Restaurant will close on September 28.

Yes, all guest rooms including balconies and patios at Three Valley Lake Chateau are non-smoking.

Ghost Town Hours (2025):
May 2 – May 7: 9AM – 5PM
May 8 – July 31: 8AM – 9PM
Aug 1 – Sept 27: 8AM – 8PM
Sept 28 – Oct 13: 9AM – 5PM

Limited free Wi-Fi is available in select public areas of the hotel. Please note that Wi-Fi is not available in guest rooms.

Accommodations

Yes, pets are welcome in designated rooms when you book directly with the hotel. A $20 fee applies for more than one pet. The Ghost Town is also pet-friendly.

All rooms feature views of the gardens and either direct or partial views of Three Valley Lake.

There is no air conditioning in guest rooms. However, all rooms include a patio or balcony door that opens for fresh air from the glacier-fed lake.

Yes, our Loft Suites include a twin-size sofa bed.

Yes! We offer a variety of family-friendly accommodations, including The Loft Family Suite, which sleeps up to 6–7 guests.

Yes, daily housekeeping is provided upon request to ensure your room stays clean and comfortable throughout your stay.

Dining

We offer two on-site dining experiences:
The Cafeteria (Open daily 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Perfect for casual breakfast or lunch with homemade soups, sandwiches, baked goods, cereals, coffee, and more.
The Monashee Dining Room: Full-service restaurant with scenic lake views, serving breakfast and dinner only from mid- May through September. A children’s menu is available.

Ghost Town & Attractions

Admission includes access to over 30 heritage buildings and themed exhibits, including:

  • An authentic saloon
  • Trapper Joe’s cabin
  • One-chair barbershop
  • Sheriff’s office with jail
  • Tobacco shop
  • Antique Auto Museum
  • Monashee Mining Co.
  • Wagon & Buggy Shop
  • Railway Roundhouse

Yes, leashed pets are welcome in the Ghost Town.

The Ghost Town is open seasonally from early May to early October, weather permitting.

Activities & Amenities

The lake is glacier-fed and very cold, with a fairly steep drop-off. Please use caution, especially with young children.

Yes, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent on-site.

Yes, the indoor heated pool and hot tub are open daily from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

We no longer host large weddings but may accommodate small, intimate weddings by special request. Please contact us directly with details.

Yes, our miniature train runs daily in July and August (weather permitting), typically on the hour from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Some specialty suites, like the Cave Suite, are only available by booking directly through the hotel. Please use our booking link to check on availability and make your reservation.
